Legal Agreement

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the CredKit platform. By issuing or verifying credentials on our network, you agree to uphold the standards of professional recognition and integrity.

1. Acceptable Use & Responsibility

CredKit provides the technical infrastructure for digital credentialing. As an Issuer, you are solely responsible for the authenticity of the achievements you certify. This includes:

  • Authority to Certify: You warrant that you have the legal right, accreditation, or internal authority to grant the credentials you issue via CredKit.
  • Content Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring that all data—including recipient names, dates, and achievement descriptions—is accurate and truthful.
  • Data Consent: You must ensure you have obtained explicit consent from recipients before uploading their personal data to our platform for issuance.

2. Prohibited Activities

To maintain the credibility of our network, the following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination:

Fraudulent Issuance

Issuing credentials for certificates, degrees, or awards that have not been legitimately earned.

Impersonation

Representing yourself as a different institution, government body, or professional organization.

3. Payments & Credits

CredKit operates on a credit-based model. By purchasing credits, you agree to the following:

  • Final Sale: All credit purchases are final and non-refundable once issuance has commenced.
  • Credit Expiration: Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
  • Usage: One credit is consumed per successful credential issuance. Revoking a credential does not refund the credit.

4. Limitation of Liability

CredKit Global provides the "platform as is" and makes no warranties regarding the market value or industry acceptance of the credentials issued by third-party organizations using our service. We are not liable for any organizational disputes between issuers and recipients.
