At CredKit, we believe that digital identity and recognition should be built on a foundation of absolute privacy and data sovereignty. This policy details our commitment to protecting the information of our issuers and recipients.

1. Data Collection & Origins

We collect only the minimum data required to facilitate the issuance and verification of professional digital credentials. This data falls into three categories:

Issuer Profile Data

Information provided when creating an organization account, including names, official email addresses, and organizational branding assets.

Credential Recipient Data

Data uploaded by issuers for the purpose of certificate generation. This includes recipient names, email addresses, and achievement metadata. We act as a Data Processor for this information.

Technical Interaction Logs

Standard server logs including IP addresses, browser types, and timestamped interaction data used solely for security monitoring and system optimization.

2. Processing & Utilization

Your data is never "for sale." We utilize the information strictly for:

  • Generating cryptographically unique digital credentials and badges.
  • Facilitating instant verification via our public ledger portal.
  • Automating the delivery of notifications and credential links to earners.
  • Monitoring platform health and preventing fraudulent issuance attempts.

3. Data Sovereignty & Rights

We adhere to the principles of the GDPR and other global privacy frameworks. You and your recipients have the following irrevocable rights:

The Right to Erasure

Issuers can delete their organization data and all associated credentials at any time. Once deleted, the records are purged from our active databases and file storage within 30 days.

Right to Restrict Processing

Issuers can revoke any credential at any time, which immediately terminates public verification access while maintaining the record for internal compliance audits.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and security preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioral profiling cookies. Our analytics are privacy-focused and anonymized to protect individual identity.
